A Long Long Way To Go

My career path is still a long way to go. I didn't know that becoming a piano teacher is so tough.
Now I am in Grade 8 and in order to get into music school to teach, I need at least Grade 8. But because I have not taken Grade 8 exam so I need to wait until end of next year only I can start to teach in music school. And the worst part is..... when we teach in music school we do not have any basic salary. Its all depends on how many students you have. And for the school fees that your student pay, you will get 60% of the fees and 40% will go to the school. Sigh..
And my friend once told me to get into Yamaha Music School because they provide training for piano teacher and a certificate that you qualify to teach piano. Is that necessary? Because in Yamaha Music Centre, my colleague's friends once teach there. The music school take 70% of the fees and we as piano teacher only gets 30%. How to survive with that kind of salary. And to get into Yamaha they need at least Diploma.
Where do I start? I really need to figure it out because I still have another year to think how to go about it. ;P

Helo my dear..

from my opinion, if yuu dun intend to be a full-time piano teacher, i dun think the diploma or training in Yamaha is necessary. yuu can just teach at home as part-time and get the 100% salary.

But actually I intend to be full-time piano teacher. Because I think it is more convenient for me if next time I started to have my own children, I can take care of my children will teaching piano at the same time. So now actually I am building my piano career athough I find it a bit late.
